Early Evening Menu

The Juboraj Abercynon offers an early evening special menu between 5pm and 6.30pm between Tuesday and Thursday and on Sundays.

Chicken Tikka Tender pieces of marinated chicken grilled on charcoal Lamb Passanda (n) Thin fillets of lamb cooked with delicate Kashmiri spices in a cream and almond sauce Chicken Chat Diced pieces of chicken tikka in our special Juboraj chat massala sauce Onion Bhajee Shredded onion patty with gram flour, cumin, coriander and green chilli, deep fried and served with a slice of lemon and mint sauce Aloo Chat (v) Diced boiled potatoes served in a rich sauce with fresh coriander Vegetable Samosa Crispy triangular pastry containing a selection of lightly spiced vegetables

Chicken Tikka Massala Tender marinated pieces of chicken cooked over flaming charcoal and served with a mild creamy sauce Lamb Bhoona This medium dish is produced from a special blend of spices fried together to produce a fairly dry curry Chicken Kholapuri Succulent pieces of chicken in a hot spicy sauce prepared with turmeric, cumin, green chillies and fresh coriander Karahi Mixed Vegetables (v) A spicy selection of fresh vegetables and tomatoes served on a sizzling cast iron platter Katchuri Dhansak (v) Vegetable globes gently suffused with aromatic spices served with lentils and fenugreek to create a hot yet sweet and sour finish Chicken Sashlick Pieces of marinated chicken cooked in the clay oven and served with a mild sauce Chicken Biryani Traditional Moghul dish served with succulent pieces of chicken Lamb Jalfrezi This hot dish combines whole green chillies. A little hotter than Madras but milder than Vindaloo Fish Massala A speciality fish from Bangladesh served in a rice spicy massala sauce Chicken Korma This mild dish is of Moghul origin and combines coconut, almonds and light spices with a generous amount of fresh cream to produce a sweet, creamy and luxurious curry
